I searched a lot on this forum and I couldn't find what I was looking for. My phone decided to act up and now I have half a white screen and have a lined screen and can't read or see anything. I took it to Tmobile and they're sending me a new pearl, BUT i really need my numbers and such out of it...

I don't have any of the software that came with the phone, but I did upload it all at one point when I first got the phone 4-5 months ago.

When i plug it in, it shows "removable drive-e" but it says the the componate is missing or whatever. I searched this and found some answers, but none of them worked.

not sure but if you can get the Desktop manager to recognize the phone (it will say connected in the middle bottom of the window) then you can use backup/restore function of the Desktop manager program to backup the phone numbers....either the regular backup or the advanced button..either works

The "removeable drive" is the media card slot. It sounds like you don't have a card installed. All your address information isn't stored on that card anyway.

Do as dgray8 suggested and download Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2 found Here and see if it will connect to the desktop manager. If it will you can use the backup/restore feature to backup the device. If that doesn't work then you are out of luck. It's a good idea to make regular backups using Desktop Manager.
