Hi, Is it possible to apply a specific ringtone to specific contact?

The only way I have found is to set the exceptions on the profile you are using. I would like to find another way to do this but I have only had my BB for less than a week and that's the only thing I have found on this forum.

Thanks for your post. However if I select contact and press Menu button, I dont have an option to add a custom phone tune. I have Options , but nothing there or Edit and nowt there either.

Hi Alex~

Try this:
Go to address book, highlight the contact, click the menu button, then edit. When in edit mode click the menu button again, "add custom phone tune" will show up on this menu, from there you can choose which tune you want to use. Hope that helps.
