Default My Messages and Call Logs are Deleting off My Pearl! Help!

Please Login to Remove!

I'm currently running on Cingular OS 4.2.1.94 and every week my messages are deleting off my phone including: GMail, SMS, and Call Logs. I tried checking the Options in my phone both under the Call Logging-> All Calls was checked and under messages I checked the options and I put on to save all messages forever and all other options seemed fine. Please Help!

Settings (if you have it)>Options>Status...this will tell you under File Free if you have any device memory left....those items are often deleted when the device memory is 0 or not far from it.

Reccommend going to Options>Advanced Options>Applications, and deleting the extra language packs. Those will save you a ton of device memory space. You will want to manually restart at the end of that by pulling the battery or else the space won't be freed up.

Yes. Anything less than 10 MB, I think, will cause data to get erased.

Like the previous poster said, deleting the unnecessary files from your phone will help free up extra memory.

Unnecessary files include: Foreign language supports (Unless you speak 27 languages and intend to use them with your friends who do as well). The "sample" video.

agreed to what the unneccessary files are though not so sure about the amount of device memory that will start triggering erasing of the items but still i've found that anything less than a few MB's is too little....and I do data support on Blackberrys.

Thanks Guys! I'll try that. And apart from that I think that there's some lint or something stuck in my pearl from keeping it in my pocket so it wont scroll down. Any Ideas on getting it out?

can of compressed air like they use to clean keyboards? (honestly no idea...but highly reccommend getting a case that covers the screen when not in use.)
