Default Question about emoticons on the 8100

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8700 and I am using blackberry messenger with someone with a pearl. She is sending me a lot of emoticons and some work for me, others do not. I am wondering if someone could let me know what the following two emoticons are (it would help interpret this conversation): ":/" and ""

Thanks!!

The difference is the version of the BBMessenger application. If you were to upgrade the OS on your 8700r to 4.2 (It's in a sticky at the top of the 8700 Discussion Forum) you would get the same emoticons that she is sending. The newest version of the 8700 OS was released by Cingular but will work on any GSM 8700 BB Handheld. Instructions are in the thread.
