Hi All,

im in deeep s**t now can anyone plz advize me what to do.

i recieved my BB pearl oww im soo happy with it.
but i wanted to the newest OS.
it was running on 4.2.0.5X (sorry X was 3 or 4 ??)
and i wanted to run 4.2.1.94
i wish i never did it.
during the process it just hang on : RECONNECTING to JVM.
wich was becouse that pearl only keeps rebooting.
but now thats the only thing it does until it runs out of battery power
it just shows the red light then goes to loading screen then switches off and starts from beginning
the only way i could stop that is : start the loader then it seems like its switched off nothing shows
but then after loading it just repaets itself in booting

i tryed JL_cmd but that doest really seems to work cos it reboot all the time

i also tyed to run the loader as loader.exe /nojvm but still it hangs on RECONNECTINGto JVM

now does anyone have an idea to fix this ??

im looking forward to any advice and be happy to try it cos now i cant work withit anyways

ok guys, good and bad news

to start with the bad
the pearl is declared DEAD < by me
so no solution for this issue by me
the good news you can all drop it cos i switched to an BlackBerry8800 wich is workin fine

Hey I need help with this same issue. My phone is doing the same thing, but i can't get my phone back to the store because i am out of town. I will be gone for a week and i need it fixed. Any sugguestions?

Please tell me that you left the phone pluged into the computer until the upgrade was fully complete. It can take up to an hour for the upgrade is completed. You are basicly flashing the phones ROM so if you take it off early you are somewhat screwed. Not really sure if you can fix that after the screw up has happened.
