hey guys, does the emails that you receive stay on your phone (i.e. gmail, cingular mail) and eat that memory, or is it stored on a website, so it doesn't take up memory on your phone

The emails will stay on your Blackberry until you delete them or until they go past the "keep" date (which you set under email general options).

Depending on your settings, when you delete emails from the handheld, they can either remain in your email account (which you can access via the web or outlook or however you access your emails) or be deleted from there as well.

so they are not stored on a host, but they are stored on your blackberry?

There is no Blackberry host server where you can log in and see all the messages that were sent to your Blackberry, if that's what you mean.

even with my gmail and my work email? are those stored on the servers there and the blackberry downloads it as i want to read it, or are they downloaded permanently to my bb?
