No Browser? New Red Pearl
 
My wife just got a new red Pearl and she has no browser / media net available. As far as I can tell there is NO way for her to access the web with her phone.

Am I overlooking something?

Thanks in advance for help...and sorry if this is extreme n00bish.

Does she have a BlackBerry Data Plan purchased from the carrier? Without such, not possible.

If she does have the Data Plan, then pull the battery to reboot the BB. Sometimes the provisioning of the BB will take a few hours to push the Service Book down that allows the browser.

This is a common/known "issue"
 
I had the same problem; It's the version of DM on the factory disk. Download the file from the website and reinstall the software. You'll get it back.
