Default What does reconcile do?

Please Login to Remove!

I've read that when I run this on a mailbox on my BB it will delete any messages that have been deleted on the server, and it will keep messages as new or unread. Correct??? I have an IMAP server and it appears it's doing this now, but every now and then I find messages on my server that I've deleted from my BB (and clicked Delete from Handheld and Server). I just want to make sure that all 5000+ messages on my IMAP are not going to get deleted because they're not on my BB.

Thanks,
Tom

As far as i know it's just a fancy work for "Sync". you hit reconcile now it will make both of your mail boxes the same. any messages you have viewed on the server will be marked as view on the blackberry and so on and so forth. the only time it should delete the mail is if your actually deleting them on the server or the blackberry.

you may also want to check Mailbox wins if you want the mailbox to take control if there are issues.

hope this helps.but i would lookin to it further...
