This is old news. Search around for a thread that I believe was started by jungleland discussing this.

Currently this is not supported by any carriers and it only works for a handfull of people.

Be patient as it will be eventually released for all BB users.

Don't all pearls come with the built in IM software that includes aol?

It does but it uses text messaginng, not data.

The pearl comes with oz sodrware which supports aim. But is complete crap. Lol
