Default Emergency call activated on Pearl.

It sometimes happens that when i try to enter my password out of the blue there is a pop up to make an emergency call, even though i selected unlock and entering my poassword. Does anyone one know why it happens and is there a way to disable this.

Appreciate a response.

Thank you.

Odds are you twitched down an option just as you pressed
Instead of using the trackball, you can just start typing your password. Even if the screen is timed out, it will pick up the first char and go right to the unlock screen

i had mine in my pocket mowing a lawn, and it dialed 911 with that stupid function. I thought i was safe having it on key lock. now i never lock the keys. I figure i'd rather accidentally call someone than 911.

That sucks. What did they have to say on the other end?
