Long story short:

My phone has been dropped a couple of times and finally the screen went half white, half lines. You couldn't read anything on it. I took it to t-mobile and they said it should not have done that nor broke so simply.

well, today my new phone came in (yay!) they gave me new software since I have moved far far away and my old box is back at my other home. I switched everything over to my new phone (all numbers switched, also YAY!), and now my buttons are BLUE.

This would be neat if it were pink or something-but they were white, then i switched themes and suddenly, BLUE BUTTONS. I tried everything i could think of to turn them back. Any clues or am i going to have to do to this crap all over again?

So they changed to blue after you changed themes is what you're saying. What theme did you change to, may I ask? I don't think anyone ever had blue keys unless they took it apart and Sharpied the led lights for the keypad. Interesting.

I put it from the one it turns on with the first time you load up the phone to the one that shows your tasks and messages etc.

you can clearly see it's blue. I held it up to my old blackberry and it's like night and day. it's irritating me!

and now, i have no internet on this phone-not even t-zones. I have the package and all, but idk where it went! :( any help on that too? lol

Nope. It WAS white-then suddenly, BOOM, blue stupid ugly buttons. If it were a more defined blue, then that would be fine--but it's like super light off-white ugly blue.

I'll take pictures tomrrow. I tend to fall down the stairs in my apartment (im a very accident proned person) and I dont want to wake up my fiancee. lol.

Just to let you know, I had the same issue but after 24 hours my tzones and browser and everything popped up. I called customer service on it at first and they said it could take up to 48 hours for RIM to activate everything on your phone. So sometime just make sure to turn the phone off and then back on occasionally to see if it pops up...

That's the best I can give you.

For some reason i seem to recall that the light color for the pearl originaly has a sort of purple hue to it. Could this be what he is talking about? I have to admit, my light is just white but i think when i first got it the light was slightly purple/blue?
Here is a pic i found online with the bluish keys...
