does it take a lot for others to get access to their pictures? cuz man o man, its taking forever to see them on mine. i just got it 4 days ago.

Yeah. Memory leaks can occur often. Putting an sd card in your pearl might help.
I have the same problem. Sometimes its fast, sometimes its slow loading pics.

i have a 2gb in there. still slow tho. is this just the way our 8100s are? or does just a few?

Mine takes long also and I have a 1GB card. Everything is on the Card, I dont have any thing on the internal memory but still it's slow.

i found that the new OS's are trying to make the thumbnails faster, the thing is it creates its own thumbnail of all your pictures, when it should create a /thumbnail/ folder or somethin.

im guessing theres no way for it just to make a list instead of thumbnails? like on the pc?

actually, if you go into the pictures, files whatever, click on the applications button, there should be an option to either view thumbnails or list. Hope that is what you are looking for.
