so i just got a white t-mobile blackberry pearl 8100. i just got it unlocked for cingular, and i was wondering if there was anyway to get the blackberry software that would have came with the phone when bought new. any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version is loaded on it now? Look in Options >About. It should say 4.2.x.x. What are the numbers after 4.2?

You can install applications either over-the-air (OTA) or with the use of the Desktop Manager. Desktop manager needs .alx/.cod files and OTA uses .jar/.jad files.
