My opera decided to act up a couple days ago and the problem is still there..

when i open it it becomes letter boxed and when i hit the menu button the outline of the window comes up but nothing is there... somethings wrong..

should i uninstall and reinstall?

When you download, you should download the newest Beta Version, it's pretty awesome. I like it.
