Default How to Mute Keypad - 06-22-2007, 11:38 AM

I keep my profile always on Quiet because I'm usually in things where I need to be quiet

But I wanted to call a number and when I press the numbers the keypad beeps real loud, even though my profile is set to Quiet, so I'm not sure what to do?

Thanks

There should be an option under Options / Screen/Keyboard to set the Key Tone to Off.

That setting doesn't turn of the key tones for dialing, however. At this point, they can't be turned off.

I thought I turned mine off when I purchased the phone. I just realized that they still make noise when I dial. I don't dial too often though. If you are talking about it making noise when you press any button, juwaack68's instructions will fix that.
