Default A million questions about picture messaging.

Please Login to Remove!

Okay.
I'm fairly new to the blackberry community so i don't know much about it.
If i don't have the blackberry plan i cant receive or send pictures can i?
because ive tried getting them and it either says it had a problem loading or something (i forget specifically what it says) or that i have to check my online album to look at it.
Is there a way i can check pictures sent to my album without internet service on my phone?????
a friend of mine suggested it would be in my t-zones album but i cant even find where to access my t-zones and the only time i remember seeing the icon for it was when i had my browser set up with internet service, and since i got rid of the blackberry plan even the browser icon has dissapeared.

so what do i do!?!?!?

P.S.
okay it wasnt a million questions but man, i really need help!

1. No. No BlackBerry Data Plan, no internet, data or email. You need one of those to send pictures. You CAN however use the Media Card and Media Manager in Desktop Manager to transfer pictures to your BB.

2. You can look at all your pictures by opening the Media folder on your 8100. I don't know what you mean by "check pictures sent to my album without internet service on my phone". How did they get there then, unless you took them with it's camera or put them their from your PC?

3. So what do you do? I think you know the answer, get a BB Data Plan.

I kind of have a question along those lines too though. With verizon(not a blackberry though) I got my picture messages sent right to my phone. Now when I get them, I have to go to a link to My Album to view them. Is there a way to have them sent right to my phone and stored there? Just seemed a lot easier.

is there any alternative to spending 20 bucks a month for the plan?
anything cheaper for t-mobile costomers that will let me check my pictures?

I'm not trying to be rude by all means but there isn't really a nice way to say this. There is no point in having a BB if you don't get a data plan. Most of the highlight features on the BB can only be utilized if you have internet on the phone. Besides, isn't it irritating to look at your screen and it says "no data connection"? Wouldn't you rather it be saying T-Mobile?

Also, T-Mobile has the best data plans right now in my opinion. Granted there is no 3G but the EDGE network is sufficient. Unlimited access for $20 is a sweet deal, especially if you use your BB as a modem to get internet access with your notebook.

Its only $20 a month. Not to be rude, but why spend this much on a phone when you can't afford it? Should have gotten a flip or slider phone if all you want is pictures.

It might be talking about your T-Mobile album. Log in to your T-Mobile account on their website (t-mobile.com) and scroll down and you should see something like this:

Click "Manage My Album" and I bet you'll find your pictures there.

I think there was a thread about people using the $5 (or $6) internet deal. You don't get push email but you can still get online. I don't think you can use IM programs either. I'm sure you could find it if you searched.. it wasn't too long ago. I hope you find something that works for you.

\/ That's what I was talking about \/

Thanks guys.
I didnt realize when i bought this phone that i would need the data plan to use about 89% of the features.
Im not gonna lie, i only got this phone because it looked awesome and i messed around with a friends phone and fell in love with it. =D
I guess ill go back to paying for the data plan, even if it puts a dent in my already dinky wallet
:D

thanks!
