Maybe this has been posted before, but I can't find this exact situation. Whenever I would send an email, I would get like 2 or 3 notifications back from the device, saying that the message was delivered or whatnot. I got all that fixed, BUT now whenever I mail a message whether from the computer or the Pearl... the same message comes back. Like as soon as it is sent, it comes into the Inbox. Is there any known way to fix it, or just a quirk of GMail?

I had the same problem. All I did was set up a filter in my gmail to block anything from my own address.

yeah, but does it block everything that you send to yourself so you don't even get it? cos i send a lot of stuff to myself depending on the computer i'm at... i just don't care for how it comes back to the pearl right away as soon as i send something... even replies i get back.

i had the same problem and i checked my forwarding settings on my gmail and set it to my blackberry address. then on my blackberry account where you put all the email addresses i left out my gmail account and it solved the problem of 2 and 3 of the same email coming back to my handheld. Hope that works.

ya it actually seems to block the saving of the sent mail (the filter). I only get one back, never more. I dunno... maybe it's just something I need to deal with...
