Hello,

when a call arrives and the Pearl's screen is "off", the screen is "activated" and I can see who is calling. The same for messages. However, for calendar and tasks reminders, I get viberate, tones but the screeen doesn't turned on automatically. Is there a setting I'm missing?

No, I don't believe so. But you should see the pop-up reminder notice when you activate the screen.

howd you get it to activate for messages? its only supposed to turn on when you get a phone call.
