Default Exchange my 2-year T-Mobile plan for 1-year?

I have a pearl (with two year t-mobile contract) that is still within its 14 day return period. Do you people know if i can go back to the authorized dealer, pay the extra $50 and get the one year plan instead, maybe even a new pearl along with it?

If you are within your 14 day purchase, you can do whatever you want. Within 14 days, you are not committed to keep anything.

Of course, your TMo retailer will make the final determination.

Yeah I would think you can. Although, you would have to pay for the difference for the phone because the cost savings of your phone purchase is due to the contract.

yah, i know. the cost difference is only $50.

So you guys are pretty sure I can turn in my current pearl for a brand new one? I know it's only like 12 days old, but I just want the feeling of getting a NEW phone again

You can get that feeling many ways. If walking into a TMo store gives you the thrill that floats your boat, do it.

I am pretty sure, within 14 days, you can walk in and return your phone. If TMo wants to change your contract, good, if not, you can walk away from it.

You can't just walk in and demand a new phone. You can turn in the phone and walk away from the contract, yes, but walk in and say you just want a new phone, no. You can switch phones of course.
