Question how to put movies on the pearl

ok i finally got the correct sd card...i got a 2gb kingston micro sd card for 25 shipped from newegg.com great deals there...

anyways...i finally have the option to move movie files onto the media card...but when i try to play any file it wont work.......do they need to be a special format? from what i read i assumed it would play avi mpeg and wmvs....but i guess im wrong....what do i need to do to make it work

Use the Roxio Media Manager included with the latest version of the Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2.

yeah i have that but it was kind of annoying to me so i just opened up the blackberry via my computer and dropped music and movies in the folders....all the music and pics work fine...but no videos....when i use the Roxio do i need to use the compression option ? or what do i do

ok i figured it out...i couldn't transfer videos to the pearl since mass storage wasn't activated....i got it working now....thanks again.....
