Hello! I was wondering if anyone can help me with my situation. I previously had a Blackberry 7100t without Internet, so I didn't have a browser icon. I just cot my Pearl through Cingular WITH Internet. WHen I first popped the battery in, I was browsing happily. UNTIL I decided to use the wizard to switch devices. It brought over all of my data like it was supposed to, but now I have no browser or anything. I went to the host routing table and registered but nothing. I pulled the battery and nothing. I went to the BIS page and resend service books, then pulled the battery and nothing. I get an application exception when I boot. Whats wrong and how can I fix?

Have you changed your device at the BIS website, entered the new PIN and IMEI numbers?

No, my other blackberry never had internet service so I have never had to type one in. I know the numbers are right though because I get a confirmation back. But I still don't have a browser icon.

You do have the BlackBerry Data Package now, right?

If not, you won't get the browser you desire.

If you do, you need to register at the BIS site for TMo, or TMo will never know where to send the browser service book which you need. Your PIN and IMEI are needed for that.

I'm getting email sent to me from my gmail accounts, so email is working like its sippused to. I had the browser before I used the switch device wizard which is weird. Its like it made this one like my old device including lack of a browser. I don't even have mms capabilities.

Go to the Cingular BIS site and send the service books from there.
