Default BodyGlove Silicone for Pearl first impressions

I tried the search and did not see any previous posts about it so I thought I'd make a post about this case.

Body Glove Site

I bought this because it allowed me to clip the phone to my dash and have screen face me for GPS/Traffic info which with the Seido I couldn't without making some changes to my dash setup.

First thing I noticed was just how wide it is, even with the belt clip removed its got a round knob and a raised area that supports the knob, so even though the knob is removable if you remove the phone from the skin, you still have a raised area.

The fit isn't that good for the side keys and headphone/USB connector and the edges around the screen kinda fold outwards because it doesn't have a connecting strip across the middle like the Seido.

It does have a fold out "kick stand" built into the clip, but I don't think I'd use that much. Clip itself is ok for belt use, but I went from a Krussel Leather case that I'd just slide into pocket and would use the clip to snag pocket entrance and keep Pearl upright for easier retrieval. The clip on this is too bulky for that. (I didn't like the Krussel because the Screen protector distorted the screen too much and the clip seemed to fail and I'd be dropping my Pearl pretty often)

For the $13 I paid it was worth finding out if I liked it, and is probably a good deal for some, considering you get a skin and a clip, but I think I'll be buying a Seido skin and just figuring out how to dash mount it a different way.

Sorry about the quality of these.... only place with decent lighting, but then the black on white background messed up any good intentions I had and I just used the flash, which didn't help much.

I also received a BSE Skin today and I really like that.
