no calls when surf'n

When I'm on the web and some1 calls me I never get a tone (a ring)but if the leave me a voice massage I get a popup that said 1 new message but no popup about a miss call any help???

Check to make sure the call waiting option is enabled.
Phone > Options > Call Waiting.

You can't have simultaneous voice and data on GPRS/EDGE.
