Guys:

First time here and a BB user. I need some hand holding it seems. Just bought my wife a BB Pearl and wanted to sync contacts and calendar from her outlook. I thought it would be as easy as downloading the BB desktop software and there would be an option for syncing the two.
Turns out that I need to understand lot more things that seems to be geared at downloading emails from servers. I do not want to set her phone for downloading emails right now. She does not care for it.
When I am installing the desktop software v4.2, I am asked what Integration option to use:

- Blackberry Enterprise server or desktop redirector or,
- Blackberry Internet service

What do I choose now?

Is there a simple way to just sync contacts and calendar and maybe download music on her phone?

I would really appreciate your help on this.

Choose the Blackberry Internet Service option.
You will then be able to sync the BlackBerry with Outlook once it's installed.

You don't need to use email on the Blackberry if you don't want to.
