When I send an SMS now on my ATT 8100, I am seeing a header at the top:

Compose SMS Text
160 / 1 of 6

I upgraded to the newest Op Sys, but didn't notice this until now. It's there no matter who I text. Any idea what it is?

i know there is a limited on the number of characters. the 160 is probably the amount of chacters you have left to type

trufatty is correct.

160 characters left per message. 6 pages is your limit of pages that it will allow you to send.
