Thumbs up A little Help on 2 points please... - 06-29-2007, 07:19 AM

First, my screen on the balckberry has a lot of dust under it. how do i take the case apart to give it a good clean.

Second I am on O2 here in the UK and currently the phone has OS 4.2.0.51 (platform 2.2.0.32). what is the latest operating system for this phone that will work on my service provider. or does it not matter what service provider you are on. basically i want the version that allows me to seperate my texts from emails. very annoying that.

any help is greatly appreciated.

The latest OS for the 8100 from O2 is 4.2.1.93. Get it here:

The applications you installed won't get deleted, and your device will be backed up if needed. Desktop Manager should handle it all automatically.

Just follow the directions explicitly... (this is another version of the 8100 OS, you can use the O2 version, but these step0by-step directions are good.

And you certainly won't have to come crawling! Just ask.
You are on the right path.
