Default Phone calls logged to messages list?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I'm a new 8100 user. I previously had the 7100.
I've noticed that when I place a phone call, it is listed (along with missed calls, etc) not only in the screen used to place calls, but also in my Messages list where I get my Exchange emails.

Can anyone advise how to ONLY have them appear in the phone screen list? I've searched the forum and played with just about every option I can find but nothing obvious.

Thanks
Tony.

Don't know whether its the theme I'm using (AT&T default) but I can't seem to locate this.

If I go to the phone screen, hit the menu button and selection Options > Call Logging, I have the option of Missed Calls, All Calls, or None. I want to display All Calls in the phone screen, so that's what I have set.

On the Messages screen, hitting the Menu button and selecting Options, I get General Options, Email Settings, Email Filters, and Email Reconciliation. None of these sub menus appears to have a log option?

Finally, when I go to the main menu and hit Settings icon > Options icon, there are lots of options in there (About, Advanced Options, etc) but again nothing obvious.

Thanks
Tony.

Ah, so setting this to None will still result in my incoming/outgoing calls being listed on the phone screen? Not obvious, but thanks for the clarification.

If you notice the option actually says..."Show these Call Log types in Message List, etc.

You got it right now.
