Default having some trouble with getting rid of email profile... please help - 06-30-2007, 01:52 AM

i just bought my pearl and one of the first things i did was setup the email. but ive decided that my unlimited data plan isnt really worth it for 30 bucks a month and i dont want my blackberry checking my email without me actually wanting to check it.... i read somewhere, cant remember if it was in this forum or sumwhere else that i shud go into options-advanced-service books, and then delete the two email related things i found. so i did that, took out the battery for 30 sec, started up the fone again, and now theres no icon in applications thats for geting messages to my gmail account, theres no folder that i can find, and yet im still getting email messages! please help... i have no idea how to get rid of this and its driving me crazy

You can remove the email address on the Cingular BIS website. Also, once your data plan is deactivated you won't get any more mail anyway.
