I leave my computer on at home so when my computer downloads the email to Outlook, it's no longer available on the server (that's how I have it set up). So, apparently, as soon as the email was downloaded to my computer, it was no longer in the BIS server and since my Pearl was synching, when it went off the BIS server, it was deleted from the Pearl. Figured it out when I was sitting at my computer, watching the email show up on Outlook (which I have set to synch every 10 minutes) and the messages icon disappearing from the Pearl at the same time.
Thanks for posting this. I had completely forgotten the ability to go to T-Mo for e-mail settings. It's been about 3 years since I last did that. I went on there and changed my signature, on reading your post.
And good job detecting what was wrong. Pretty cool watching the e-mail icon disappear on the Pearl. God knows how long you would have been troubleshooting this had you not caught the Pearl in the act, so to speak.
