Default 8300 speaker into 8100 possible?

Would love to know if the Curve 8300 speaker can be installed into the pearl 8100.

Its possible, the speaker appears to be the same shape. At only $4 it might be worth a try, assuming you dont break something else when install it. I doubt if anyone has tried it yet. You might be the first. Let us know if it works.

I will really like to boost my speaker power and if battery drain is an issue then ill buy a seido extended battery. I will try this soon, ill keep you posted.

P.S. I just purchased the speaker, will install it as soon as it arrives. Will include pix of speakers side by side. Hope this works, wish me luck.

i replaced my speaker with one 4m a sliver and it sounded a lil better but it wont be louder bc you still have the same *amp* i.e. 8100 so dont xpect 2 much
