is there anyway to change the LED flash to a solid light? iv seen a few phones that display solid green when fully charged but im more interested in just having it a solid green instead of a flash permanently, in turn a solid red instead of a red flash when i get a sms or a call.

That would likely drain the battery, maybe not, LEDs don't use much juice.
Try BBAlerts software, I don't think it will make it solid, but you can tell it how fast to flash (or slow).
