Does anyone know what the custom code to make the trackball black if it is possible?

not possible to make the trackball black. via code, only way would be to disable the lighting and use a marker of some sort to color the pearl.

I think it is physically impossible since the colors are in different locations.
Green top left, Red top right etc...
So the only thing I can think of would be to try to turn them off. When mine is not lit up it looks black, could be the dirt but that is the only thing I can think of.

Yeah color wise it won't turn black, I've tried, doesn't work right. But mine is definitely black without the light on. If you wanna trade trackballs I'd prefer mine to be clean and white again.

I am going to disagree. There are tons of members here who's pearls have turned black from use! I just want my white again!!!

I got my first pearl a littl before valentines day and they had a carrying case with a pink inside that I bought.

Needless to say, after about a week of use, my track ball turned pink! I want my old ball back :(

new to black berry tried to install color pearl but will not work wont open file ext or some thing along those lines please help would be greatly appreciated

Are you trying an OTA or desktop install? Explain what steps you are taking and what error you see.

Anybody able to get an orange color? If so got the code you used?

The hexadecimal color code for orange is #FF7F00.

I actually like 111111, has a cool effect when you look at it from different angles. That ladies love it

You can set custom to 000000 and turn off the lighting behind your trackball... if it's not a new one it looks BLACK!

How do you turn off lighting without opening up the thing?

yup 000000 doesnt light it up at all
