Default Sending Picture Via Email Question

First I have searched both this forum and others for an answer to this question and I haven't found it - sorry in advance if I missed the right thread.

I am trying to take a picture with my 8100 and then send it. I am on ATT and they say I can't send via MMS, however the only option that comes up when I click on the envelope button within the camera is MMS.

In the help (on ATT) they show a menu that pops up to give you a choice (Send by Email, Send By MMS, etc). I don't get this option - it goes straight to MMS. I seem to remember getting this at one point but no more.

Since MMS doesn't work for me, I would love to be able to send via email as default or at least get the choice.

Anyone have any thoughts as to how I can get this working?

I'm with T-mo and Send via email appears in the menu.

Maybe you should contact ATT. Do you have an email address registered on your phone? You do have data plan right?

Data plan and email address.

ATT tech support is my next stop unless the folks here have any fixes.

not sure if it helps, but i can also confirm that i have a 'send via email' option after taking a picture. but i'm also on t-mobile.

I have the option on mine phone. 8100 t mobile. Maybe you need your service books resent?

Default Service Books

I hear a lot about service books -

What are they and how do you reset them?

Also will it screw anything up with they are reset?

No it shouldn't screw anything up. Just contact your service provider and ask them to resend them.
