| Pearl problem with wireless sync Please Login to Remove! Okay... here is our setup... we have 15 blackberry pearls in our network, Exchange 2003, Outlook 2000-2003 for email, Cingular for our provider, BES 4.0 server, and several different versions of firmware on our 8100s (ranging from 4.2.069 to 4.2.1.96). I have confirmed this problem on the all phones. Here it is:
Wireless synchronization of our calendar seems to be problematic. Emails, Tasks, and Contacts all work perfectly. When you create one of those in Outlook, they show up immediately in our blackberrys. When you create an email, task, or contact in our blackberrys, they show up in Outlook. When you delete one of the three in either location, they are removed from the sister location. SO... those are working just fine. The Calendar is a problem though. If I create a Calendar item in Outlook, it shows up in my blackberry. If I delete a Calendar item in Outlook, it deletes from my blackberry. If I create a Calendar item in my blackberry, it DOES NOT sync with Outlook. It never shows up. I have turned Wireless Synchronization off and on again. I have confirmed that this happens on ALL of our Pearls. This did not use to be a problem, but we are not sure when it started. I have plugged the pearls in the the BES and done another activation to make sure that all of the service books are working properly. Because we have a BES, nobody plugs their pearls in to the Blackberry Desktop software. There has not been a need to do so for some time. Ideas?
Thank You,
Alan |
