Is there any you recommend that can covnert .avi into .mp4

It doesn't convert to mp4 but it converts videos to play perfectly on my pearl. The quality is pretty good and audio and video line up perfectly.

You need to read the sticky on video conversion. See above. There's info on video converters, some for $15, others for free.

Are you trying to convert videos into mp4 thinking those will play fine on the Pearl?
