Hey guys...

i don't know if i'm going nuts or this is something new...

when i press the numeric keys.. i can hear the key tones... even though i turned it off in the options....

when i press other keys besides the numbers... there's no sound... is that the way it's supposed to be???

YePs, you are going nuts.

Actually, the DTMF tones when dialing a phone number canNOT be silenced. They are there to stay today.

If you want to dial a phone number secretly, or one of those occasions when you should not be doing so--dial it first in notepad or an email and then click from the link there. Or dial from the address book.

Good luck. (By the way, that is a very common question around here, so you've used up your one common question without stating you have already searched for the answer. From now on you will get harassed big time if you don't search first--see the search link at the top of this site).

OK, it's either ONE big post with ALL your stupid questions in one place, or you have to watch reruns of "What's Happening" for the next 24 hours straight.
