Question Google Maps Still not working

Hi there

I have upgraded the firmware on my UK t-mobile Pearl to be the ....101 version.

I have never got Google maps to work. Always stopped with an unspecified error.

Now it keeps saying network unavailable - but of course e-mail and browsing still work OK. It is not my t-mobile account - used an 8800 and it worked fine with Google Maps.

I have read threads about deleting the IPPP entry etc. but mine says "IPPP for BIS" so do not really want to remove.

Anyone any ideas? I have also updated the permissions to be allow on everything for Google Maps and still no joy.

I know I do not have GPS but Google is better than BB maps (in my opinion).

try looking at the thread I started, I managed to find a web page that detailed all the settings on your pearl.
