Default New Pearl question

Hi There
I am new to the 8100 and have just gone through setting it up. No problems there. However, for some reason the egg timer keeps flashing in the centre of the screen (every two seconds or so). Can anybody tell me why this might be happening?

Regards
Ben

Probably simple memory issues.

Pull your battery (while powered on) and reboot. Do that about once a week and it will help clear the cache and keep the memory fresh.
