Not visited the forum for 8 weeks, any sign of a work around for the problem of inability to connect via Blackberry for data services from Tomtom.

I can establish contact between my phone and the Tomtom but the error message then tells me thats as far as I can go do I want to connect manually?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Vodaphone carrier, not subscibed to tomtom plus services yet in fear of non connection.

Don't think it will work, the TomTom One can't act as a Bluetooth GPS, the build in bluetooth just for data.

This is how I got it to work.

Firstly you need Handheld OS 4.2.1.66.
On my Tom Tom One XL Europe, I had to purchase a 2GB SD Card and copy the data from the Tom Tom to the Datacard and then get the Tom Tom to boot with the Data card. For some reason if I booted from the device memory, it wouldn't connect and I can only assume this was due to lack of memory maybe.
