Default Call Waiting - Help!!

Please Login to Remove!

Guys... please say you can help me!
When in a "silent" or "vibrate" profile and I receive a call whilst on another call (profile is set up to allow this) my BB only shows the incoming call waiting on the screen but doesn't vibrate. Now, how the heck are you meant to know there is a another call coming in if the phone is aginast your ear??? If the profile is set to vibrate for incoming calls why won't it do this when a call waiting call is received??? Am I missing something?

You hear an audible tone in the earpiece when the call waiting is enabled and in action. You don't need the vibrate.

Ouch, that makes my ear itch just thinking about it.

Trust me, you do not want the phone to vibrate while you are on a call. A few times while talking to someone, I exited to the home screen and held down the # key to switch profiles from Normal to Vibrate. The phone vibrated to confirm my selection and the next thing I heard was "HOLY SHIT WTF WAS THAT?!" Oops.

I don't get any audible beep in my ear at all to tell me that someone else is trying to call in. There must be a way to know that you have a call waiting.

You need to confer with your carrier then.

Do you have Call Waiting enabled? You would get the tone.
