Default Keyboard inputs all messed up!!!

Please Login to Remove!

All of a sudden keyboard inputs are all screwed up. I upgraded to the new OS and everything was working fine for about 24 hours until now.

Pressing the DEL key inputs an "xc" then "zv" when pressed again. Speed dial entries are wiped out. Ive done a clean install several times to no avail.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a battery pull? You may wish to check your free memory
Menu>options>status...

There isn't a chance that you got the device wet right?

Well, as gross as it sounds, I had the phone up to my ear in blistering heat and humidity and sweat was on the phone after the call, so maybe that screwed it up!

Now what?

Wow. I would wait for some other members to chime in. It really didn't get that wet but I would say yank the battery immeadiatly and put it somewhere warm to dry overnight, maybe a light hair dryer session might not be bad either. Liquid can do VERY bad things to the handheld but if you let them dry they are usually ok.

E-

let it dry tonight and see how things are tomorrow

Yep, remove the battery and let it dry out for a couple days. It sounds as if the keyboard got wet. It sounds like it will dry out but you will need to give it a little time.
