Default Memos keep getting lost from Memo Pad

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I make a memo in Memo Pad, it gets lost i.e. I'll make a memo, save it, exit MP, go back and it's there. However, if I check back after a few hours, all memos are gone. What's going on?!

Could be lack of free memory?

Go to Options>Status and see how much free memory you have.

If you do a battery pull, or reset it with a reset app, that should free up memory.

Default Outlook Sync

I had this problem. I had my Outlook "post-it" notes folder set to auto-archive. When this happened, they vanished from my blackberry. I moved them back into my main .pst and set Outlook to "never archive" that folder. Since then, no issues. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I reset by removing and replacing the battery, made a new note and it's still there. So maybe this was related to free memory. But does this mean that whenever the free memory drops, this is going to happen? If there's enough memory to store the note in the first place, why does the note vanish when memory drops? Seems like a highly volatile situation to me. And why does free memory drop? Confused...

Well the latest ONE-word saved memo remained on the device overnight but is now gone.

Free memory = 14950288 Bytes

Any other suggestions?

Probably a bad suggestion.

Try going into options while in memo pad, and uncheck any filters that maybe checked, see if your memos reappear

How do you get your memo's in outlook to appear on your Blackberry? Mine do not sync. over? Is there a setting or something? None of my filters are on.

Does it happen after you sync?

Jeremyckitching is correct.

Your memory is not sufficient. Please refer to the link previously posted about losing data. If you delete the unused languages and demo video, etc. Check for applications that you have loaded but do not use and remove them. Also, VERY important to properly close applications using the Menu>Close(or exit) and not hitting the End key which will place it in the background.

I don't think anyone has the exact figure but I know that people start losing things around 16mb. I ALWAYS keep mine about 18mb and have never lost data.
