hi all.... i just got my first BB...evere! it is really cool and i like everything about it.... except that i cant send video mms..... anyways:

The bluetooth on my device can send.... but it cant receive anything. so far i tried it just on 5 different nokia phones... and it didnt work on any of them! :(

is it supposed to happen on BBs?

most of the time the BB will not let you do anything through bluetooth, reason being IMHO, is that the BB is a business tool and the last thing companies want is people sending confidential docs through BT... hence the reason for restricted stuff on the BB BT.

On the other phone you are trying to something to you have to go to hte place you want the file to be at and then push the menu and click the recive using bluetooth. Then on the other phone go to the file you want to send then push send using bluetooth.On the phone you want to send the file to it is going to say the space it takes and the name of the file. You can change the file name if you like. Then it is going to send the file. Then just go to the folder and it should be there and just repeat that with every phone you do. The phone has to have bluetooth.

When the device is paired don't forget to turn on the trusted option. If you highlight the pairing you can select this from options. Otherwise you will not be able to receive files. This is more to eliminate the spread of virii than to eliminate the spread of 'confidential data'.
