Hi hope you can help

When I'm trying to add a contact in bb messenger. I click add contact and it takes me to my address book. I then click the trackball on the person that I'd like to add. This just takes me to their contact details. How do I add them or send them a request?

Contact must have email address or PIN entry. Is there some problem there with the contact you are trying to add?

Also, in order to use a PIN you will need to highlight the contact and then press the menu key instead of the trackball. Then you will get the option to choose PIN or email (assuming you have the pin and email listed for that contact.)

I've seen wiredness in that manner too. The worksaround I use is to first copy the PIN the do the invite. I choose the first option, "use once" or something like that, instead of selecting the contact. The paste the PIN in.
