Default weird problem- querrying the number in message text

Please Login to Remove!

whan i first bought my pearl 8100 i could see the owner of a number in a text message by right clicking on the number, if i have that number in my adress book naturally. and my call log was not seen in messages icon.
Now my call log is listed in messages folder and cant do the other thing. I am sure these were caused by some changes i made . but i cannot find which one.
any ideas.
sorry for my language, diffucult to define the problem

kenten, there is no right-click on a BlackBerry.

If you want to remove the call log from the messages go to :
Phone Dialer pad > Options > Call Logging > NONE.

that solved one problem. thank you jsanders.

i am not sure i expressed the second one well enough .
for example you receive a text message saying " here is my uncle's number 12345678"
when you go to the number with mouse and press menu button a menu opens , options are "reply, forward, delete , call 12345678, full menu"
even if i have 12345678 in my adressbook under name jeorge it doesnt show , i must call it to see.
i remember when i first used my pearl it was "call jeorge" instead of "call 12345678".
any ideas, do i remember wrong? ( that is one possible explanation since i forget a lot)

Battery pull? Leave it out for a minute or two then put it back in. This fixes a lot of little problems you may or may not have with the pearl.

Kenten, yours may have been set like that, but I don't recall that ever being an option on one of mine. I honestly think you remember incorrectly.

If "jeorge" in your addressbook were the sender, and you clicked menu on his "sentfrom" in the header, it would do as your describe, with the option to call, etc.
