Hi all. I just got a pearl and i'm really excited about it. This forum is great and has tons of amazing information. I'm really happy that i've joined this community.

Now back to the topic. There is one thing that bothers me about my pearl and that is the snapshot sound that it makes when taking a picture with the camera. Is there a way to turn that sound off or delete it or replace it with a silence file? Help would be greatly appreciated.

No, there is not a way to turn that sound off. There is a trick to making a call and snapping a picture. You'll find some threads here with that discussion if you look

I'm not aware of a setting to turn off this noise. You may, however, plug the earphones into the jack and this will suppress the noise from being heard over the speaker. It will be heard in the headphone instead.
