Default Sync Email

Please Login to Remove!

This is probably a pretty easy question to answer, but I am having trouble with my email on my phone. When I delete an email from Outlook, I have to delete it again on my phone. Several other people in my office have the same issue. Is syncing the solution?

It depends on what you use: if you use BES then this is no problem. If, on the other hand, you use BIS to get your e-mail then it may or may not be possible. If you have BIS configured to use OWA and you are on BIS 2.3 then it will reconcile deletes (Outlook-->Handheld), but may take a few hours to do so. I'm not sure if IMAP provides the same feature.

So how can I have my email deleted on the BB when I delete it in Outlook, when using BES?

Thanks

Hmmm, the option is on for me yet it doesn't work... I have to manually select "reconcile now" manually from the menu.

Can't help further I'm afraid. A BES expert may post and give you a helping hand or you may have more luck posting in the BES forum.

Default reconcile priority

I think there are some settings in the Desktop Manager that control who has priority, the desktop or the BB. maybe playing with those settings will fix your problem.
