Trying to configure an 8100 Pearl. All setup correctly, have setup several users before. Got through Enterprise Activation. Can receive emails.
Cannot reply to emails, or send new messages from the Blackberry. Other users in the office can.
When attempting to send, a red cross appears next to the email. Message Status says “Unlisted message error”.
Called network provider (VodaFone Australia) several times to see if network issue. 3 times now they have reset the account. Twice I have deleted the account off the BES server and set it up again from scratch. 3 times I have reset the Enterprise Activation code and gotten the user to re-authenticate with the new codes. I cannot tell you how many time we have done a hard reset (taking out battery & sim card for 10 minutes and rebooting).
Still cannot send email from the Blackberry. Have been escalated to 3rd level support at Vodafone, still waiting for the call. User needs to go on a business trip, what is the point in having a Blackberry when you cannot send email?
Please, this seems like such a simple thing. Anybody got some advice?
