Default SMS on "Compose" icon

Please Login to Remove!

On my main screen if I have all applicaitons on. The "compose" and "saved Messages" icon are not hidden.

If I am not mistaken, If I wanted to send a SMS message I could just click on "compose" and I'd go to the person I wanted to send a "text" message to. NOW, when I click on "compose" it assumes I am sending a "MMS".
Is there a way to change it so that it either asks me if I want to send/compose an SMS or MMS?

PS, I did a search and couldn't find anything to answer my question.

thanks,
Rolo

When I hit compose on mine, it asks me which email to send email to and starts composing email, not mms. I am using a Pearl on AT&T and use the latest OS at the top of this forum.

Nuopus, You are correct! Mine did the same thing and not sure why it's doing this. I also noticed that it asks this for a specific person, who I text message the most. But if select another person, it dials their number instead of going to compose a message.
