Default BB Pearl Downloads Old Emails Every Night! Help!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I posted this last week but didn't receive any responses so I'm hoping some new folks with info might be around! I have a BB Pearl running v. 4.2.0.73 (Platform 2.2.0.41). My computer runs Mac OS 10.4.1 and I use Missing Sync to sync them. This used to happen once in a while but lately it's almost every night - everything is normal when I go to bed and then when I wake up my blackberry has downloaded 300-500 old emails! For some reason it only happens overnight. It's a huge pain and I have no idea what to do!

Thanks,
Kara

This is a long shot since I have MS Outlook. But when I got triplicate e-mails it was because when I tried to set up my e-mail accounts on the new PC, in Outlook, I could not get it to work.

The third time I did. When I was opening Outlook I was getting three copies of every e-mail. Eventually, I checked my account settings and realized that I had three of the same account running, so Outlook was downloading the same e-mails for each of the accounts, even though they were the same.

So, maybe you have duplicate accounts set up somewhere, either at RIM or your e-mail provider? I dunno, just a thought on something you might check.

I would also call your carrier, see what it has to say. Maybe it is something on their end.
